Instructions on how to setup a site router
A cellular router is a router that provides allows a personal laptop to
receive wireless internet access via a mobile broadband connection.
If or when you are finished with the IT equipment, please send it back
to us in the box it came in along with the grey bag and the returns
label. If you are moving the equipment to another site, please email IT
about this.
Below are 3 Different types of routers we supply. The first only has one
slot for the antenna, the second has 2 slots and the 3rd one has 4 slots
(All shown below).
Step 1: Screw the antenna into the gold-plated socket.
This is an example of what it should look like on each router we supply.
I have circles where the antennas need to be screwed into.
Once screwed in it should look like the below.

Step 3: The Black Antenna needs to be screwed into the gold connectors into the router. This is shown below for each router.
Step 4: Make sure the Black Antenna is stuck to the window with the provided sticky tape. This is for the best signal. If placed anywhere else, you will not get the best signal possible and will cause ongoing issues. Below is an example.
Step 5: Once you have setup the Antenna and the Power is on you should have the following lights solid/flashing.
SYS, SIGNAL, CELL and WIFI.
Step 6: Now click connect to "McConnell MIFI" Wi-Fi and now you will be connected to the internet.
NOTE: If the connection is bad in your area, you may be given on of the white antenna's (below) and this is how the site manager or labourer should install it.
You will also be provided a yellow ethernet cable which may be used when IT need to connect from your laptop to the router.
